What I Offer

Newborn

Labor Support

With my Birthing Guidance, I offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and step in with anything you might need. The support of a doula before, during, and after birth has been proven to improve birth outcomes and parents' satisfaction with the experience.  Whether you plan to give birth at home, in a birth center, or in a hospital, I will stay by your side through the whole process, remaining after birth for the immediate recovery and skin to skin time, and following up with you in your home during the postpartum period.  Support should be available for all families who need it. This service is offered on a sliding scale, just send me a message!

Included in the package:

-continuous support from time of hire to 12 weeks postpartum
-2 prenatal visits to prepare for birth
-round the clock availability from 38 weeks until delivery
-2 postpartum follow up visits

Bereavement Support

When you lose a child, you may be at a complete loss as to what to do next. As your doula, I will support you during the birth of your baby by miscarriage, stillbirth, or life-limiting diagnosis. I will support and guide you through your options, suggest ways to honor and remember your baby, and help you find the support you need afterwards as you grieve.  Support should be available for all families who need it. This service is offered on a sliding scale, just send me a message!

Termination Support

Since the passing of Roe V. Wade in 1973, abortion has been legal in all 50 states. Unfortunately abortion is still a very polarized topic, often times leaving those who seek abortion feeling very alone. I promise to provide judgement free support of whatever choice is right for you.  Abortion support can take many forms; emotional and physical support through the process, help with discretion and transportation, education on options, processing, and referrals to other supportive resources. Everyone deserves the right to feel supported. I offer this service on a free/ sliding scale to those in need.

Virtual Doula Support

During these uncertain times, this global pandemic has unfortunately led to many restrictions within hospitals and cities. I am now offering virtual birth support, as well as post partum visits.

What Is Virtual Doula Support?

Virtual doula support is like in-person support in many ways. Here are the biggest differences: Labor and Birth: Instead of providing physical support, the doula provides virtual guidance on physical coping techniques for pain management to the client and to whoever is supporting the client in person. The doula provides emotional and informational support by phone, text or a video-communication app. Postpartum: Instead of providing hands-on support, the doula applies listening skills through phone, text or a video-communication app and may use a video app to demonstrate and assess nursing or other infant feeding, newborn care, self-care and the physical recovery of the client.
